Web analytics consulting
Retail (UK)
Online customer journey analysis for a high street retailer. We conducted a strategic analysis of visitor behaviour at a high street retailer’s web site in order to optimise site design and improve conversion rates. This involved creating Key Customer Journey’s based on detailed analysis and segmentation of visitor behaviour, attitudes and opinions.
Financial services (UK)
The development and implementation of the web analytics strategy for a large building society. This involved defining the strategic approach to measuring the channel and integrating customer data into the main CRM systems. We also were involved with the implementation of data integration approach and campaign tracking strategy.
Online publisher (UK)
This project involved an analysis of usage of site and content for an online subscription based publisher. We identified differing patterns of visitor behaviour using segmentation and visualisation approaches on log file data.
Marketing analytics
Telco (US)
Here we worked with US marketing agency to explore potential reactivation factors for lapsed business customers of one of the large de-regulated telecommunications brands. The results, when combined with additional qualitative research, fundamentally changed the timing, and content, of churn management activities.
Casino group (US)
Launched a Data Mining initiative for the largest worldwide Casino gaming company. Developed lifestyle segmentations. Modelled attrition, campaign response and market value across the enterprise.
Analytical Applications
News media (UK)
Developed a highly scaleable approach to forecasting daily demand and optimising supply for a large UK newspaper group.
Market Research (UK)
Designed and co-developed a framework to render Perceptual Maps in an interactive Flash application. PerceptionStreamTM allows researchers and brand owners to visually explore the consumer/citizen perceptions of brands, products, services, countries, policies, people, etc.
Energy Company (Sweden)
Developed an Extraction, Transformation, Loading (ETL) application to streamline the process of merging data from multiple marketing campaigns into the native format of the incumbent analytical software tool.
